Griffith Garden Festival

Held in mid October each year.  Due to its reliance on irrigation the town is able to support some truly magnificent gardens.

La Festa

Held on the long weekend at Easter each year, the festival is a celebration of the diverse cultures within the community.  The festival showcases the food, music and costumes of a wide variety of cultures.


Visit some of Australia’s best known wineries.  Local wineries include McWilliam's, De Bortoli’s, Casella’s (producer of the famous Yellow Tail range of wines), West End Wines and more.

Cocoparra National Park

A pleasant 20 minute drive east of the town, the park is home to some of Australia’s best known flora and fauna including one of Australia’s largest birds the Wedge Tailed Eagle.

Murrumbidgee River

Enjoy a relaxing weekend camping and fishing along the banks of the famous Murrumbidgee River or just take that special someone and a picnic basket for a day trip and experience the magnificent River Red Gums.

Hermit's Cave and Lookout  

From the top of the McPherson Ranges the lookout looks east over vineyards and orchards towards the Binya Hills and beyond.
